𝐂𝐚𝐧 𝐅𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐀𝐧𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐄𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲?

I've been reading about different approaches being explored in animal nutrition, and fermented feed ingredients seem to be attracting increasing attention.

From what I understand, fermentation has been used in food production for a long time, but its application in feed ingredients is generating discussions around digestibility, nutrient availability, and feed management practices. It also appears that different livestock sectors may have varying experiences with fermented ingredients depending on production goals and feeding strategies.

What I find interesting is that adoption seems to vary across regions and farming systems, which suggests there may be multiple factors influencing its use beyond nutrition alone.

For those involved in livestock production, feed manufacturing, animal nutrition, or agriculture:

Have you worked with fermented feed ingredients? If so, what benefits or challenges have you observed compared to more conventional feed approaches?
